Hello wonderful CMS inquirers! My name is Mrs. Zahner and I teach 6th grade English and History. I have an insatiable love of reading and the vast pleasure of teaching students history that spans from the start of civilization in Mesopotamia to the arenas of ancient Rome. This is my third year at CMS and my fifth year as a teacher. After growing up in Martinez I attended Montana State University to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development. Although I loved that big sky, the Bay Area has always been and will always be my home. I feel so lucky to be teaching in my own community of Crockett. I know this year seems different from all the rest, but I look forward to using my knowledge of technology to make distance learning as valuable and enjoyable as possible.
