Volunteers

We are so grateful for our community and the hands-on support your bring to our schools! Our volunteer procedures meet the standards and guidelines set forth by the state of California. 

There will be three (3) levels of volunteer clearance: 
Level 1 - Limited - Volunteer up to two times per year
Requirements: 
- Limited Volunteer Information form (filled out each visit)
- Copy of Current Photo ID
- Site Administrator Approval
- Megan's Law Check

Level 2 - Ongoing - Not restricted to a certain number of events 
Requirements: 
- Volunteer Application Form
- LiveScan Fingerprinting
- TB test
- Copy of Photo ID
- Mandated Reporter Training

*Level 2 is required for field trip attendance

Level 3 - Ongoing + Driving
Requirements:
- All Level 2 Requirements
- Driving Forms

Tuberculosis (TB) Information:

TB Clearance: Contact your physician for a current tuberculosis (TB) clearance, required by law. If you do not have a physician, you can contact Concentra at concentra.com

The Tuberculosis Risk Assessment Form, a form from the California Department of Public Health, may be an option in lieu of a skin test as determined by your healthcare provider.

Please allow for the 48 hour reading requirement if a skin test is necessary. Please note, TB clearance must be renewed every four years and is the volunteer’s responsibility to update.
