    • We use the term ‘multilingual learners’ as a subset of all learners to acknowledge and honor these students’ array of languages and cultures that contributes to their growing richness of linguistic and cultural repertoires (Martínez, 2018; Ortega, 2014).

    • Brainfuse is an online tutoring suite for students. HelpNow is a resource designed for K-12 students and beyond. Live tutors provide homework help for core subjects, including mathematics, science, and English language arts. Students may submit papers to HelpNow’s Writing Lab for expert assistance, or collaborate with peers in virtual study spaces. 

    • Brainfuse es una página webd de tutoría en línea para estudiantes. Helpnow es un recurso diseñado para estudiantes k-12 y superiores.   • The Footsteps2Brilliance logo features a green banner with text and stars.

     

    • An early literacy and biliteracy solution, that will provide California children and families free access to interactive digital eBooks, songs, and games in English and Spanish. This resource expands access to all children and families statewide, creating a much-needed bridge between school and home. The digital literacy partnership will provide the free learning resources through December 31, 2023. Families and caregivers of young students can access the Footsteps2Brilliance digital bilingual educational resources by going to the Footsteps2Brilliance California Bilingual Early Literacy Initiative web page.

    • CommonLit has books and articles available in both English and Spanish. A fantastic resource to have access to more authentic and interesting materials for reading. The website has resources from 3rd to 12th grade and they are FREE!
